Touched by Type 1 Introduces the D-Box, Providing Support for Type 1 Diabetes in Spanish

Touched by Type 1, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals and families impacted by Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) has introduced the D-Box, now in Spanish. The D-Box is a comprehensive resource that contains tools and information for people with Type 1 Diabetes to better manage their T1D.

Knowing first-hand the intricacies of living with T1D, Touched by Type 1 created the D-Box – a starter kit providing important resources and supportive materials to help individuals with diabetes thrive. The box includes information and brochures on companies that provide insulin pumps, glucagon injection pens, medical supply bags and diabetes accessories. Additionally, you can find "swag" items including bracelets, pens, magnets, sunglasses, stickers, books (for kids), and more!

Living with Type 1 Diabetes can be challenging and Touched by Type 1 understands how important it is to have access to the right tools and information to manage the condition effectively. By introducing the D-Box in Spanish, we hope to provide a comprehensive resource that meets the unique needs of the Spanish-speaking community.

In addition to the D-Box, Touched by Type 1 has also produced a range of educational materials and resources in Spanish, including guides on proper nutrition and exercise. By making these resources available in Spanish, Touched by Type 1 aims to provide a more inclusive and accessible platform for the Spanish-speaking community.

Touched by Type 1 is committed to providing the best support possible to everyone affected by Type 1 Diabetes. By introducing the D-Box and providing our resources in Spanish, we hope to empower individuals to take control of their T1D.
