Upcoming Central Florida Events
Events bring the Type 1 Diabetes community together to connect, learn, and support one another. Each event is completely free to attend, making it easy for individuals, families, and caregivers to participate. From meaningful conversations to helpful resources, these gatherings are designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Together, we continue raising awareness and supporting the path toward a cure.
Touched by Type 1 Community Connections is coming to Columbus, bringing together families affected by type 1 diabetes for a morning of connection, conversation, and community at Little Lemons Play Café.
While kids enjoy a fun and engaging play space, caregivers will have the opportunity to build relationships, share experiences, and connect with others who understand the T1D journey.
This free event is designed to foster meaningful connections in a welcoming, supportive environment. Registration is required, and space is limited.
Columbus, Let’s Connect!
Touched by Type 1 Community Connections is coming to Tampa with three opportunities to connect with the local T1D community.
Start the day at our WonderGrounds Play Café Community Connections Event from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, where children ages 6 and under can explore and play while caregivers connect in a fun, welcoming environment.
In the afternoon, join us for our You're Just My Type Community Connections Event at Oxford Exchange, beginning at 1:00 PM. Adults living with type 1 diabetes and parents of children with T1D are invited to build relationships, share experiences, and connect with others who understand the T1D journey.
Then, from 2:00–4:00 PM, moms are invited to our T1D Moms Coffee Chat, a dedicated space to meet other mothers raising children with type 1 diabetes, share experiences, and build lasting connections.
All events are free to attend, but registration is required and space is limited.
